Well Chlorination

Many times, well water is tested by an accredited lab to test for bacteria (E-coli and total coliform). If the water tests positive for either of these, you will want to contact to evaluate the system and perform a chlorination to obtain a clean sample. This can be a very easy process if done right. Frequently, there is false information on the procedures for chlorinating a well that could cost you thousands in repairs. If your well tested positive for bacteria, you will want to treat it and then have it resampled to confirm the problem is gone. Water sampling should be done once a year.
